SAVE Virtues (Our full legal name is Social Advancement of Virtues Endowment.). is a Maine State non-profit 501 (c)(3)focused on ending hunger in Maine. SAVE Virtues accomplishes this Mission with four Initiatives; these are;

1. distribute food to the hungry;
2. bring more food into Maine through private donations and promoting corporate citizenship;
3. coordinate food pantries throughout the Northeast into a network, sharing knowledge and resources for the People and;
4. educate and up-skill the People in skills appropriate for their economic gain.

Initiative One only continues to “institutionalize” hunger but is necessary to assist and stabilize People affected by hunger. This effort is the precursor to Initiative Four. SAVE Virtues believes that the greatest impact to strengthen communities is to strengthen People. SAVE Virtues educates and up-skills People so they no longer need food assistance. Let us all uplift our fellow citizens to achieve their own level of excellence so they can contribute to our community both socially and economically at a higher level. SAVE Virtues Mission is to be a leader in this upward spiral of growth.

Education also plays an important roll in Initiative Three. SAVE Virtues works with other food pantries to assist them in creating the ideal food pantry so as to better serve our fellow communities in ending hunger and cultivate contributing citizens.

SAVE Virtues believes there is great potential in people so, it has teamed with the John Adams Business Institute (JABI) to provide ongoing education to People as a continuing effort to the above Initiatives. The Institute assists People in business or in starting their own business. JABI’s Mission is to increase success potential in start-ups and assist existing businesses to grow and create greater profits.
